As you’ve read in the past, you simply cannot keep me in the USA for long periods of time! The entire semester led up to December 3 – the day I’d hop a plane and once again return to England (only for a few days mind you) before spending 2 weeks in Germany to visit my best friend Emma Holloway!

Let’s travel Germany together, the easiest way possible – through a few photos!

I miss the Altstadt (Old Town) of Düsseldorf.

Bas from the Netherlands makes an appearance in Düsseldorf just to see me!
I met Bas in New Zealand over a year ago!

Snow covered München! (Munich)

Yep, I visited a few castles. Welcome to the Neuschwanstein Castle, famous for being Disney’s Cinderella’s Castle.

I Love Bayern! (Baveria)

Christmas Market near Marienplatz, München.

One of the only remaining bits of the Berlin Wall.

Brandenburger Gate, Berlin

“Work Will Set You Free”. Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.

Currywurst mit Pommes & Mayo.
AKA: German fast food! Bratwurst with curry powder & french fries with mayo.

This, ladies & gentlemen, is Germany in as brief a tour as I can give of the 600 photos I took whilst on my trip.

Traveling has changed for me. I’ve left the USA 3 times this year now and each time I go I realize more and more how I’m not a good tourist. I’m a good “settle down and create a new life in a new city” kind of person.  Graduation is May 13, and I truly hope I will be able to take myself over to Europe permanently.  The lifestyle there is just nothing compared to the US.
