Spring Break is upon us and, while last year SB meant an excuse to leave the country, this year I find myself working the 9 to 5 insurance gig again. Alphabetizing, sorting, and filing. Something as simple as shuffling through papers for 8 hours really does leave one exhausted. Daylights Savings Time did not add to the pleasantries at work today. Everyone was ready to take a nap. I promised myself I’d take a nap when I came home, but with only 59 days remaining until the much anticipated graduation date, I spent this evening applying to a few jobs.
I’m starting to regret telling work I’d come in for the week. Sometimes you just need a few days to recoop. And when you’re as busy as I am, those few days off mean the most. My Vice Pres, Nick Farano, messaged me a “Sup Kiddo” this evening, which turned into a “You earned a week off 10 fold.”
Well, I can work hard this week because I’m certain Senioritis will be in full force once I return to Stevenson.
I really wish I had pictures from an adventure abroad to post. It’s gonna be a while….
